Starting of with the nickname, granQ is a short version of my family name that I started to use on internet because I needed something unique.

Born 1984 and grew up with my parents in a lovely village called Harplinge. I played around alot outside in the forest, fields. On the picture to the right I am (at the age of 5-6) wearing Swedish clothing that nobody wears in reality.

Finished from Highschool without the exam in 2003 and did my military service right after that, 10 months in Skövde. After my national service ended I was "unemployed" or had some free time for a 2 months before I started to work for the german company Lidl, got a contract from july to 26th October so I bought myself a flight ticket for the 29th October

29th October and until 21th December I was in Thailand, got home and started the year 2005 with this homepage (11th January I bought this webspace) and study math to get my grades up, got a summerjob at HDF that gave me some income and then I went back to the school to get my exam.

After one year of studies I went for a trip from 9th January to 5th May where most of the time i spent in Thailand.

Summer 2006, work for a susage maker. Some days I fix the spice used, another day I stand at the saw and make nice slices of meat, the best days I drive around in the car enjoying the countryside.

On my last day in Thailand during the spring one guy asked if I wanted to work as an English teacher, during the whole summer I had that idea in my head but my plan was to start university, then one day I bought a one-way ticket to Thailand. Completed a TEFL course and worked for a muslim school in south Thailand. A number of reasons, including not getting workpermit because I didnt have a degree, I went home with a stop over in Istanbul for a few days with my parents.

During 2007 I worked as a security guard, really nice and alot of variations. Driving car all night, or stand outside a museum a warm summer day...

In August 2007 I finaly started my univeristy studies and had "the time of my life", living in Råslätt was like traveling around the world.. everywhere at the same time. My first day I meet Sergio and Denise that became my super friends and they ended up spending their christmas with my family.

I also became friends with a beautiful bellydancer from Mexcio, Carolina, and her room mate from Czech that makes the best panncakes in the world... Lucie also known as "the panncake princess"..  and they also lived with the funny chinese girl Fong.. needless to say I spent alot of time in their kitchen. 

In November I did a trip I haven't really done before, very exotic for me. I been in Middleast, Europe, Asia.. but not really been in the north of Sweden. That changed after I went to Kiruna for one week. Really funny.. but think I still prefer warm countries.

I spent the New Year in Prague and went after that directly to Budapest, a new country for me. The trip was with Carolina, Ernesto, Reno and the brazilians, Sergio and Denise. A kickass team, so much fun and a good end for a semester together.

That year we also delivered some 3d models to Australia which they sold to the Swedish forces to use in the military simulator VBS2 and I got offered to attend conventions in Stockholm and Paris beforeI flew to Mexico to visit Carolina and her lovely family aswell as Lucie that also was there. I also meet other friends in Mexico like Reno, Ernesto and Jacob and got travel some but of course meeting Caro was my main purpose with the trip.

Came back home and spent one semester as president of the international section on the Engineer school as well as a member in the environment council were I hopefully will push the school into emission trading. That is my life so far..
